Fashion Nude shoot in Brazil, day 2

In addition to their incredible beauty, Brazilians have a reputation for their love of nightlife! After our first day shooting, the models took us out to paint the town.

The following day we all had wicked hangovers, which no amount of espresso could cure. Even our makeup artist was wrecked. Unfortunately, we’d already booked a location and a wardrobe stylist. The stylist arrived with some really bizarre ‘high fashion’ items. As the backstage photos show, the second day of shooting was a total trainwreck!

After a few hours, I called it a day and we all headed to the beach… :-)

Fashion Nude photoshoot in Brazil

Brazil is a land of beautiful people. When one of my favorite high-end photography magazines was seeking submissions for their upcoming ‘Fashion Nude’ edition, I took a gamble and headed to Brazil.

Through the miracle of the internet, I connected with a member of my website who lived in Porto Alegre, Brazil (birthplace of supermodel Gisele Bundchen). Jose Luis was a photographer himself and spoke five languages. Thankfully, he joined me during my stay and provided invaluable assistance and translations (não falo português).

Shortly after my arrival, I spent a few days visiting fashion modeling agencies. I found a great studio space and booked my first shoot.
